Forward Lighting Inc. (“Forward Lighting”) is pleased to provide the following limited warranty covering our induction lighting bulbs and frequency generators (ballasts) installed directly by Forward Install Inc. (“Forward Install”).
Forward Lighting warrants that any induction bulb assembly or frequency generator that makes up a complete fixture assembly or has been retrofitted by Forward Install to a customer’s existing fixture assembly is to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of installation.
If a Forward Lighting bulb assembly or frequency generator fails due to defects in materials or workmanship within five (5) years of the date of installation by Forward Install then Forward Lighting will repair or replace the defective part without cost to the owner of the warranted equipment. In all cases Forward Lighting will warrant all peripheral and associated components for a period of one (1) year including parts and labour. The preceding warranty applies only to Forward Lighting bulb assemblies and frequency generators and not to peripheral devices such as motion sensors, photo sensors, or fixture housings which are covered by the perspective manufacturer’s warranty for each device.
Terms & Conditions
The foregoing warranty applies only to Forward Lighting induction lighting bulb assemblies and frequency generators installed directly by Forward Install or approved sub‐contractor of Forward Install and does not apply to failures caused by acts of God or as a result of any abuse, misuse, or abnormal use. Forward Lighting reserves the right to examine failed components to determine the cause of failure and patterns of usage.
The foregoing warranty constitutes the sole and exclusive remedy of the purchaser and the sole liability of Forward Lighting for induction lighting bulb assembly and frequency generator warranties. NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS MADE OR IS TO BE IMPLIED. In no event shall Forward Lighting be liable for any other costs or damages including lost profits, incidental, special or consequential damages.
To Make a Warranty or Claim
Retain the failed products and notify Forward Lighting before the end of the warranty period to obtain a Repair Authorization Number and to log a case. Every effort will be made for a Forward Install representative to complete the repair as soon as possible but please allow thirty (30) days for repairs/replacement to be completed. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
